General manager Stan Bowman is mostly responsible for the Chicago Blackhawks' regression since 2017, which is why he’s so unpopular in spite of running the team during its golden age. Blackhawks confirm ‘rebuilding’ plan they’ve been working on for 3 seasons

This doesn’t seem all that surprising, really. For anyone who’s been paying attention, none of this should be new. On Tuesday afternoon, multiple media outlets released interviews with Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman, detailing an alleged “rebuild” the Blackhawks are now embarking. Here are some comments from Bowman, as reported by ESPN’s Emily Kaplan: “But what I don’t want it to mean is we’re trying to tear this team apart and trying to bring in a whole new group of players in the next year and a half,” Bowman told ESPN in a wide-ranging interview on Monday....

Colliton, 35, was named the 38th head coach in franchise history on Nov. 6, 2018, after the Blackhawks fired Joel Quenneville along with assistants Kevin Dineen and Ulf Samuelsson.
