More front office help for Brad Holmes and company. The Detroit Lions apparently aren’t done adding more talent to their front office. Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Rams director of pro personnel Ray Agnew is being hired as the Lions’ next assistant general manager. First up is an enticing battle between two all-time great quarterbacks. Aaron Rodgers and company had little problem dispatching the Rams last week as the Packers rolled to a 32-18 victory. What happens after Matthew Stafford leaves Detroit?

What happens after Matthew Stafford leaves Detroit?

Photo by Leon Halip/ Fear and loathing in Michigan. The smoke was clear. No, not the smoke mind you, smoke is rarely clear; the intention of the smoke, its message inherent. The end of Matthew Stafford in Detroit was clear: the contract spoke it, the narrative spoke it, the cost-benefit hummed. It was going to happen; it was just a matter of when it would come down. The announcement still hit like hell. What begins an end? Where did the end start for Stafford and the Lions? The rumors have been around for a few years now: the reticence of Stafford to start again, with a...

What is your favorite Matthew Stafford memory?

What is your favorite Matthew Stafford memory?

Photo by Rey Del Rio/ Let’s think back on the good times. After 12 years in Detroit, Matthew Stafford and the Lions have mutually agreed to part ways, as the team will now be looking to ship the former first-round pick elsewhere. If you’re still holding onto the hope that Stafford remains a Lion, I guess it’s possible. Per MLive’s Kyle Meinke, the Lions are looking for a “fair market value” trade and if they don’t get what they’re looking for, Stafford could still return to the team, though that could make things awkward. Stafford reportedly approached...
