Minnesota Timberwolves: 3 Wolves players with the most to play for

For the Minnesota Timberwolves, the 2020-2021 season has been nothing short of a disappointment. Still, there’s talent on the roster, and much of the team carries uncertain futures. Let’s take a look […] Minnesota Timberwolves: 3 Wolves players with the most to play for - Dunking with Wolves - Dunking with Wolves - A Minnesota Timberwolves Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and More

Minnesota Timberwolves: 3 rim protectors for Wolves to target this offseason

It is no secret that the Minnesota Timberwolves‘ defense has been one of the league’s worst throughout recent memory. Currently, the Timberwolves own a 115.2 defensive rating for the season, No. 27 in the league.  While the Wolves boast offensive talents such as Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell, the roster is mostly devoid of defensive […] Minnesota Timberwolves: 3 rim protectors for Wolves to target this offseason - Dunking with Wolves - Dunking with Wolves - A Minnesota Timberwolves Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and More

Dane Moore NBA Podcast: Which Current Timberwolves Make Sense On Next Season’s Roster?

Photo by Hannah Foslien/ If the Minnesota Timberwolves core players are Karl-Anthony Towns, D’Angelo Russell, Anthony Edwards, Malik Beasley and Jaden McDaniels, who of the other 10 players on the roster make sense to be on the team next season? Rather than digging into another Timberwolves blowout at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks, we go through each of the ten role players case to have roles next season. Will Ricky Rubio get pinched off the roster financially this summer? Has Rubio made a case to stick around with his play next to Edwards and/or Russell? Could...

Minnesota Timberwolves: Player grades from loss to the Milwaukee Bucks

The Minnesota Timberwolves lost once again, this time getting blown out at the hands of a Giannis-less Bucks squad. The Minnesota Timberwolves didn’t have Karl-Anthony Towns. The Milwaukee Bucks didn’t have Giannis Antetokounmpo. And things went about as expected. The Bucks led the whole way in the Wolves’ second wire-to-wire loss in as many afternoons. Bucks 130, Wolves 105: Matinee Malaise

Photo by Jordan Johnson/NBAE via Time for happy hour. For the second time in as many days, the Minnesota Timberwolves took the court for a rare matinee game, and for the second time in as many days, the Minnesota Timberwolves got blown off said court by their opponent. Rather than break things down using my standard “The Good” and “The Bad” structure, let’s just call a spade a spade — these last two days of basketball were absolutely terrible, and there’s very little that can be taken away, analyzed, or whatever from the last 24+ hours of Target Center...

Bucks play without Giannis, rout Timberwolves anyway

Karl-Anthony Towns wasnt in the Minnesota lineup for the second consecutive game.

There's good reason to believe Glen Taylor's Timberwolves pledge

Taylors efforts to keep the NBA team in Minneapolis should be successful.

Dane Moore NBA Podcast: The Value Of KAT Shines In His Absence

Photo by David Sherman/NBAE via The value of Karl-Anthony Towns to the Minnesota Timberwolves might shine brightest this season when he is off the floor. With KAT not playing on the one-year anniversary of his mother’s passing, the Timberwolves failed to compete in his absence. On today’s pod, amongst other things, we dive into the Timberwolves staggeringly poor numbers with KAT off the floor this season. Looking at the numbers of the Wolves other best players with KAT on the floor compared to their numbers with KAT off the floor — and why they find success next...

Minnesota Timberwolves: Towns and Russell proving to be dynamic duo

Not much has gone right for the Minnesota Timberwolves this season. At 14-40, they’re tied with the Houston Rockets for the worst record in the NBA. COVID-19, Injuries, a midseason coaching change, and roster construction have all played a role in Minnesota’s lost season. Well, things are starting to look up on the court after […] Minnesota Timberwolves: Towns and Russell proving to be dynamic duo - Dunking with Wolves - Dunking with Wolves - A Minnesota Timberwolves Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and More

Nets 127, Wolves 97: An Afternoon

Nets 127, Wolves 97: An Afternoon

Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports The Wolves were dominated by the Nets. The Minnesota Timberwolves and Brooklyn Nets game was postponed last night after the death of Daunte Wright. The game was made up this afternoon and the Wolves were summarily defeated, losing by over thirty points most of the day. Karl-Anthony Towns did not play in this game as he was with his family grieving the anniversary of the loss of his mother from COVID-19. Amidst this depression, the Wolves played an unsurprisingly terrible game. A few notes: Kevin Durant is light years better than anyone...
