There’s also pitcher Alex Colome, who has a mutual option for […] Minnesota Twins: The free agent case of Michael Pineda - Pucketts Pond - Pucketts Pond - Minnesota Twins News, Rumors, and Fan Community

The Minnesota Twins had to make this call earlier in 2021 when they designated Matt Shoemaker for assignment after he posted an abysmal 8.06 ERA over 16 games. It may […] Minnesota Twins: Enough is Enough-It’s time to DFA Andrelton Simmons - Pucketts Pond - Pucketts Pond - Minnesota Twins News, Rumors, and Fan Community

Jesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sports Obviously, right? If you read the title and thought to yourself, “Well, obviously. Who the heck wrote this?” then that’s good. If you read the title and thought “Maybe he’s right but if Colome finishes strong... maybe Simmons as a cheap utility guy.” Then you need to stop what you’re doing and give that up completely. Under no circumstance can Andrelton Simmons or Alexander Colome return to the Twins in 2022. This isn’t just because they’ve both had down seasons. Simmons is typically only kind of below league average but...
